We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable licence to view and print pages from this website for your own private reference. This licence does not extend to:

Payment Terms
All prices are quoted in Malaysian Ringgit (RM) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Quotations are valid for 14 days from the date of issue.
- Payment is due upon collection of the completed item unless alternative arrangements have been agreed in writing.
- For restoration work exceeding RM 1,000, we may request a deposit of up to 50% before work commences.
- We accept payment by cash, bank transfer, and major debit and credit cards at our workshop.
- If parts sourcing reveals costs materially different from the original quote, we will notify you and seek approval before proceeding.
Where work has been partially completed and you choose not to proceed, the cost of any labour and parts already applied may be charged. We will discuss this with you openly before any charges are made.

Service-Specific Terms
Crystal Replacement
Crystal replacement is carried out to the manufacturer's original specification where possible. We will match crystal type (acrylic, mineral, or sapphire) to the case design. We do not accept responsibility for pre-existing dial or movement damage uncovered during the process, but will inform you before proceeding.
Water Resistance Checks
A printed result sheet is provided. The stated pressure rating of any watch is a manufacturer's specification and is not a warranty against water entry in all circumstances. Our test reflects the condition of the watch at the time of the check; we are not responsible for subsequent changes in seal integrity.
Full Restoration Programmes
Restoration work proceeds in stages with written updates. Where original parts are worn beyond use and replacements are no longer manufactured, we will describe all available options honestly and await your written instruction. We will not substitute parts without your approval. Timelines for restoration are indicative and may be extended if specialist parts are required.

Disclaimers
This website is provided in good faith for general information purposes. While we take care to keep it accurate:
- Information about services and pricing is indicative and subject to change. Confirmed scope and cost will be set out in a written quotation.
- Photographs of workshop environments and finished pieces are representative only.
- Our service is provided with reasonable care and skill. We do not make representations about any specific outcome beyond what is set out in a written quote or scope document.
- We are watchmakers and restorers, not valuers. Any comments we may make about the age or condition of a piece are observations, not formal appraisals.
09 / 15
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Malaysian law:
- Our total liability to you in connection with any single service shall not exceed the amount you paid for that service.
- We shall not be liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental losses, including loss of sentimental value, loss of use, or the cost of obtaining a substitute.
- We are not liable for damage arising from pre-existing conditions in the watch that were not disclosed or that could not reasonably have been detected before work commenced.
- Events outside our reasonable control — including supply chain disruptions, natural events, or the unavailability of obsolete parts — will not constitute a breach of our obligations.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other matter that cannot lawfully be excluded.
10 / 15
Indemnification
You agree to hold Pendulux harmless from any claims, losses, or expenses arising from your breach of these terms, your misuse of this website, or any false or misleading information you have provided in connection with a service. This obligation survives the end of any service engagement.
11 / 15
Termination
Either party may withdraw from a service engagement before work commences by giving written notice. Once work is underway:
- You may request that we stop at any stage; we will invoice for work and parts to that point.
- We may decline to proceed if we discover conditions that make safe completion impossible, or if information provided proves materially inaccurate. In such cases, we will describe what we have found before returning the item.
Terms relating to payment, intellectual property, disclaimers, and dispute resolution survive the end of any engagement.
12 / 15
Dispute Resolution
We would prefer to resolve any concern through a calm conversation at the workshop or by email. If you have a concern about a service:
- Contact us at [email protected] with a description of the concern.
- We will respond within 5 working days and aim to reach a resolution within 30 days.
- If informal resolution is not possible, either party may refer the matter to mediation before pursuing other avenues.
These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any unresolved dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia. The Consumer Protection Act 1999 (Malaysia) and related regulations apply where relevant.
13 / 15
General Provisions
- Entire Agreement. These terms, together with any written quotation, form the full agreement between us in respect of the services described. They replace any prior informal understandings.
- Severability. If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full effect.
- Waiver. A failure by either party to exercise a right under these terms does not constitute a waiver of that right on any future occasion.
- Assignment. You may not transfer your obligations under these terms to another party without our written consent. We may transfer our obligations where the workshop changes ownership, provided the standard of service is maintained.
- Notices. Written notices under these terms may be sent by email to the address you provide or to [email protected].
14 / 15
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Where changes are material, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of this website or our services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
We will not retrospectively alter the terms applicable to a service already underway.
