When a watch deserves careful hands
Bench work carried out quietly and without rush at our Bukit Bintang workshop. Crystal fits, pressure checks, and long restorations for pieces that hold a place in the family.
Services at the bench
Each card below describes one area of work. Read through them at your own pace. Prices appear at the foot of each card.
— Service 01
Crystal Replacement & Refit
Acrylic, mineral, or sapphire — we remove the old crystal and fit a size-matched piece using the correct press or gasket method. The dial side is cleaned under loupe before the new crystal goes in.
- All crystal materials handled
- Gasket renewed where applicable
- Courtesy dial-side clean included
— Service 02
Water Resistance Pressure Check
A dry vacuum check followed by a wet pressure test at the stated rating. We hand you a printed result sheet. If the watch fails, we explain what seems to be at fault before any further work is discussed.
- Printed result sheet provided
- No obligation to proceed
- Fault explanation if test fails
— Service 03
Full Restoration for Inherited Pieces
A careful programme for watches that have passed through a family. Work proceeds in stages with written updates. Parts sourcing is discussed openly before anything is ordered. We keep original parts where the owner wishes.
- Initial consultation included
- Written milestones and cost range

The way we work
Written scope before work begins
Every job gets a written description of what will be done, what parts are involved, and an indicative cost. Nothing proceeds without your agreement.
Loupe-level attention to detail
We work slowly and methodically. Small components are inspected under magnification so nothing is missed or forced into place carelessly.
Clear, honest communication
If a part cannot be sourced, or the work carries a risk, we say so plainly. You are kept informed at each stage without technical jargon.
Proper tools for each case type
Crystal presses, sized dies, pressure test equipment — we maintain the correct instruments for the work rather than improvising around gaps in the toolkit.
Parts sourcing explained openly
When original parts are no longer manufactured, we walk through the available options — NOS, aftermarket, or adapted — before anything is ordered on your behalf.
A fixed address in Bukit Bintang
The workshop has been at the same Jalan Bukit Bintang address for years. Drop in, leave your piece, and collect when the work is done at a time that suits you.
Have a watch that needs attention?
Bring it in or write to us first. We are glad to have a look and let you know, without any pressure, what the sensible path forward looks like.
Things people often ask
Do I need to book an appointment before bringing my watch in?
A prior message or call is appreciated so we can set aside time for a proper look, but walk-ins are welcome during opening hours. Restoration consultations are booked in advance as they take longer.
How long does a crystal replacement typically take?
Most crystal replacements are completed within two to four working days. If a specific size needs to be ordered from a supplier, we let you know how long that is likely to add. You are not charged for waiting time.
What if my watch fails the water resistance check?
We will describe which seals or gaskets appear to be at fault and give you a separate quote for that corrective work. There is no obligation to proceed, and the result sheet is yours to keep regardless.
Can you work on very old or unusual calibres?
We handle a broad range of movements, including older Swiss calibres and pocket watches that have been brought to Malaysia. Unusual pieces are assessed in person before a scope is written. We will tell you honestly if something falls outside what we can do.
What happens to original parts during a full restoration?
If you want original components kept rather than replaced, we note that in the written scope and work around it. Parts that are removed but still serviceable are returned to you alongside the watch.
How is payment handled?
Payment is settled when you collect the piece. For longer restoration work, we may discuss a staged arrangement once the written scope has been agreed. We accept cash, DuitNow QR, and major card types at the workshop.
